Scene: Calire’s fighting dojo. Rose looks around in confusion and amazement. Calire begins putting on sparring gloves.
Rose: …I didn’t know you had a gym…
Calire: It’s a fighting dojo, not a gym. Now pay attention. There’s a reason I took you in and gave you a job, Rose. There are things you don’t know about yourself that you will have to remember if you want to survive. Now do me a favor. Shut up and attack me.
Rose: Uh, I don’t really – whurk!
Calire punches Rose in the face.
Calire: Shut up and FIGHT!
Rose stumbles back, her hand raised to her face. She gets furious. She snaps a kick at Calire’s head.
Rose: BITCH!
Calire blocks the kick easily. She’s pleased with Rose’s response.
Calire: Good! That’s more like it!
